Description

Fully customisable solution – use our chain sling builder below to enquire about your solution. Grade 100 is our newest lifting range and is typically 25% stronger than Grade 80, meaning that you can lift more with the same chain size part and providing you with a lighter and more durable product. Suitable for lifting up to 9.50T.

Grade 100 chain diameter sizes: 8mm, 10mm, 13mm.

Standard components: Short Link Chain, Chain Tag, Component Connector and Master Link.

Hooks available for Grade 100 chain assemblies: Clevis Auto Look Hook, Clevis Sling Hook with Safety Catch and Clevis Grab Hook.

Optional extras for Grade 100 chain assemblies: Clevis Shortening Clutch.

Our chain slings are all made in house to your order and meet BS EN 818-4 specification. They are supplied tested with all relevant safety information clearly stamped onto the chain tag.

Advice for use:
Always; store and handle slings correctly; inspect slings and accessories before and after each use; fit slings carefully, protect from sharp edges and position hooks to face outwards from the load; ensure the chain legs are not twisted; hook free legs back onto master link; ensure slings are only used by trained personnel, improper use could result in personal injury and/or damage to property; ensure that the load is on the centre of the hook and not the tip.
Never; use the sling over the maximum W.L.L.; force, hammer or wedge chain slings or their fittings into position; shock load chain slings; use chain slings in acidic or corrosive atmospheres; submit chain slings to heat treatment; use chain slings or accessories at temperatures above +200°C or below -40°C

User Information:
The W.L.L. is based on multi leg slings being used in a symmetrical format. If the chain sling is to be used against sharp edges or corners the W.L.L. will be affected and the supplier should be contacted to establish a safe lift load limit. Chain slings should not be used in hazardous conditions which include offshore applications, the lifting of people or dangerous loads i.e. liquid metals, nuclear, corrosive or caustic substances or materials.
